My dream for crafting is that there's a fundamental change in almost the entire process to achieve viability.

1) Gathering/Acquisition - gathering skills can pretty much stay the same, maybe get a small bump in success rate. Creature crafting drops need to be increased by 20%, possibly more.
- The big change I'd want to make on this front is that
I'd want to remove all non-craftable drops from the
mobs and bosses, save for the mythic keys.

2) Crafting leveling - this won't garner any love for me, but the refining and crafting skills would need to be extended and evened out. More successes required per level and looking at 1 million of a crafting item to reach legendary in any skill. Combined with the first idea, this will stabilize the crafting economy by increasing supply to bring prices down while compensating for the influx of demand.

3) Crafting recipes - this is where it gets tough because now every item needs to be capable of being made, and I mean EVERY item. Now, the combination of craftables to create a given item may be easy (like we already have), but many items will require higher skill levels and working in combination with other crafters (see Dreams post 1136 for an example). For those who wish to pursue the crafting of truly legendary items, then the Subpaths will have to get involved as well, adding a whole other level of crafting combinations and purpose for the paths. For the paths, I'd imagine a Walker spell "Enhance Craft" that can be leveled up over time via usage rather than internal path quests with a 2-4 week cool down time. At the most basic use, it would start with helping to make the current mythic drops to replace them as boss drops.
