I believe the intended idea, which never came to be, was to have 3 specific hand items for each class - <b>Warrior: Bone Charm, Claw, Daemon Heart <b>Rogue: Luck Amulet, Spirit Mask, Mystic Herb <b>Mage: Occult Sphere, Magus Scroll, Lurid Eye <b>Poet: Royal Seal, Steel Bracelet, Hand Drum Currently the hand items listed under the rogue, mage, and poet areas see little use - and it's mainly due to the lower ac for each item, compared to the warriors. If I had to guess, I would assume that these were not originally intended to be universal to all paths (similar to how a holy ring is mage specific, and a whisper bracelet is rogue specific, etc.) and this is something that was just never corrected with the game shifting to new developers, new GMs, etc. I think it's too late to make them class specific now (even though it probably would be better for balance), as it would anger a lot of players who have grown accustomed to wearing the warrior hand items in PvP.. However, is it possible to raise the AC of all of the rest of the hand items to match the warriors (claw, bone charm, daemon heart) and then after - make the items class specific after altering the AC to match? Sa (Antique): -16 Sam (Ancient): -15 Ee (Old): -12 (potentially boost all to 14) Il (Worn): -10 (potentially boost all to 13) 99 (New): -8 (potentially boost all to 12) I believe this would help to boost the usage rate on a lot of the vortex items and add in a little diversity to the game. | |
