x   You travel to the Valley of the Mudang, where you
    are met by an old woman huddling over a fire. She
    lifts her head to reveal a toothless grin.

  " Gather 'round . . . "

    Her bristly voice echoes over the crackling of
    the roaring fire.

  " Have ye ever done somethin' ye ain't proud of?
    We all haf.  Things in dis land are always waitin'
    fer trouble. "

    She lifts a closed fist over the fire.

  " Tell us ye STORIES! "

    As her fist opens, several shining particles flow
    downwards into the fire, causing it to burst with
    flames.

  " Ye spirits be restless . . . Tell us a tale, a
    grisly story, lest ye be taken by the SPIRITS! "

((    The objective:  Using the theme, tell a story of
    gruesome proportions. We aren't looking for any
    fanciful stories about squirrels collecting acorns.
