We found some distrubed dirt, broken branches, and eventaully even traces of blood. The blood was still warm and fresh. Instead of wandering through every party of the huge cave hoping to stumble across something big and shiny, we simply followed those signs deeper inside. The trail eventually brought us to a place known as Oxen Pull. This place is not a joke. I have gotten lost and overrun here as well myself. As we walked in, Gadreel started slaying oxes, and I began with my talismans. There were bulls everywhere, and the were not very happy about our search. Under this rock near a big tree, we found a note left by Jo'hannah explaining this was where the family had been overrun and lost the jewel...Gadreel and I continued to search for the jewel, but we could not find it.. And, it just occured to us that there was another possibility we had not considered: One of the bulls may have swallowed the jewel. We were trying to avoid bulls as much as possible so we would not have to take on more than we needed. Fighting doest not always have to the first answer. It is sometimes better to observe what you are dealing with, use the surroundings and avoid unnescessary danger when possible. However, the bulls were charging into us every chance they got.
