Due to the recent upheaval in the Buyan Empire, it has come to my attention that the Shining Jewel Foundation has ceased operations in assisting those who are new to our lands. The Merchant Guild has been an ardent supporter of the Shining Jewel Foundation during my tenure as elder. Further, we are incredibly fortunate to have one of the most prominent Shining Jewel Foundation members, Caiden, as a guide. This also presents us a unique ability to fulfill our Duty to Community and mitigate the current situation. I have authorized Caiden to fully use any Merchant Guild funds and stored goods necessary to assist any who are new to the Kingdoms, until such a time that Buya and the Shining Jewel Foundation can resume their functions.
