The first time I saw a Raven, it was watching me from a branch. The air changed. A cold breeze, and then everything went still. No birds, no noise, nothing. Just the Raven. I felt weightless, drifting until I was eye-to-eye with it. That black stare. Then it was gone, and I was back on the trail, walking like it never happened. It felt like a dream. I want to give myself to that. I want to leave the ground, soar, and see it all?what?s happened, what?s coming, everything. | |
