I am Aajae, a humble seeker recently walking the path of the Diviner, devoted to serving those in need. If you're also in training at Ancient training grounds, chances are we've crossed paths more than once already.

As usual, after a long day of exhausting drills, I made my way down to Walsuk?s tavern, a strange little place known for its peculiar charm. a ghost lingers near the beds, and there?s even a talking dog out behind the hut. Still, what I enjoy most is Walsuk?s special, paired with a cup of freshly brewed wine. It?s the perfect end to a long day of training and hunting.

But this time, something felt off.

Walsuk seemed unusually stressed and distant. Curious, I asked what was troubling her. She confessed that the tavern had fallen on hard times due to fewer visitors, less coin, and an uncertain future.

?It?s harder than ever to make a living these days,? she said.
?People barely come around anymore. What should I do? Will things ever get better??

Moved by her words, I pulled out an old leather parchment, an heirloom passed down through my bloodline, said to have belonged to Ryutaek, the great mage of ages past. The markings on it are faint now, symbols of a legacy long faded from memory.

From it, I took three ancient coins and began the casting six throws in total.

Here were the results:

First toss: 2 tails, 1 head

Second toss: 2 heads, 1 tail

Third toss: 2 tails, 1 head

Fourth toss: 2 tails, 1 head

Fifth toss: 2 tails 1 head

Sixth toss: 2 heads 1 tail

A clear pattern emerged...the hexagram Ko, the Sign of Transformation. It speaks of shedding the old and embracing change. I told her, gently, that this might be her time of great turning. Whether it?s a new recipe, a change to the tavern itself, or something more personal, the signs only point to potential not certainty.

All I can offer is a glimpse of what could be... or might have been.

I left a few coins to pay for the fine wine and the warm meal, along with a small note:

?Shedding of old skin.?

Perhaps next time I visit, I?ll see her smile again.
