Diancecht is the god of healing, herbalism, mortality, but also very characteristically, envy. I seek to worship and devote to Diancecht for many reasons; I seek to continue on his works of healing, lest they be lost forever should successors not rise to the task. I seek to learn and acquire the powers to heal people, so that I may take another, shall the balance of nature demand it. I seek to walk the path he walks, for there is no value of a life that never ends. I seek to devote myself in faith to him, for I recognize and see value in jealousy and envy: For there is no greater motivating force than envy, in driving a person forward. No one is perfect, and gods are no exception. I devote myself to Diancecht, for all his positive aspects, as well as his negatives. I embrace my own flaws, and seek to throw myself into the arms of Diancecht, and hope that he deems me worth enough to lend me his powers, to teach me his ways. -Siphon, devout of Diancecht. | |
