I'm so raven. Opportunistic, territorial bird of unknown powers, origins, and intent. Not everyone may understand the little actions that I take, nor the purpose of such actions, and the goals that I seek to accomplish. I have my ways of acting, of speaking, and of thinking. Orthodoxy has no place in me. It isn't the blind following of traditions that lets me soar high, but rather the ability to think for myself and deviate that lets me do so. Should they understand, that would be good for them, but should they not, that wouldn't be of concern to me. And so, I soar above, plotting, planning. Wings and feathers may not accompany my intellectual flight, but the spirit of the raven follows wherever I go, for the spirit isn't an imaginary or outerworldly being; It is a mode of thinking. Following the spirit of the raven is being raven, and being raven is following the spirit - they are one in the other, and that is what I too, am. -Siphon | |
