I have confronted tigers and rival clans without flinching.. yet it was a mug of brew that almost turned into my fiercest foe.

One drink turned into five, then ten. By the time the moon loomed over Kugnae, I could hardly distinguish the palace walls from those of the taverns. With the boldness only a tipsy Barbarian can muster.. I swaggered right past the Royal Guards. Whether they believed I was meant to be there or simply chose not to challenge a slurring woman wielding a axe.. I will never know.

The next thing I recall is standing in the King's private chamber.

Maps sprawled across the table. Scrolls piled high with royal seals. Important looking documents were strewn about. In my drunken stupor.. I grabbed a handful of them. I thought they was fancy parchment fit for my camp fire. I put them under my arm and stumbled back into the streets. I finally collapsed into my own bed.

The dawn brought chains instead of birdsong.

The Royal Guards smashed down my door and ransacked every inch of my home until they uncovered the missing papers. They shackled my wrists without uttering a word and then they shackled my sister, Yoonji, too.

She had done nothing.

Yoonji spent the whole evening in silent meditation.. seeking the spirits guidance. She never set foot in the palace. She never laid a finger on the documents. She was unaware that I had stumbled into the King's chamber. Yet they dragged her away alongside me.. as if being my sister was enough to seal her fate.

Days dragged on behind cold iron bars.

Then out of the blue, they unlocked my cell.

"You were just a drunken fool," one guard muttered before shoving me back into the streets.

I laughed... until I turned around.

Yoonji's cell was still locked.

I pleaded for answers. I confessed that the documents were in my home due to my own drunken foolishness. I took on every bit of blame. Yet they still refused to set her free.

When I returned to the Wilderness.. the only place I ever truly called home... I found no solace waiting for me. The Barbarians had already made their choice. My disgrace had tainted the tribe and without ceremony, they cast me out. The fire that welcomed me are now snuffed out... The path I walked since childhood was no longer mine to tread.

My sister Yoonji remains locked away for a crime she did not commit.

I lost my home for a mistake I openly admitted to.

Yet the innocent remains behind bars.

So I ask every soul in the Kingdoms this..

If the kingdom acknowledges that I alone bore those royal documents.. why is Yoonji still imprisoned?

Perhaps the Crown fears a Diviner's wisdom more than a drunken Barbarian.

Or perhaps innocence is the easiest thing for a kingdom to lock away.
