I stand quietly near the Buyan Palace, feeling the gentle caress of the wind from the North. It's movements are slow and unwavering, as if the wind itself is in a state of rest. There is no urgency in it. Only a calm, steady presence that seems to hold its breath. Turning eastward, I observe that the air remains completely still. No shifting dust, no clouds, nothing to signal any movement or change. The atmosphere feels expectant yet inert, as if waiting for something that will not come. Facing South, I notice the same profound stillness. The air is motionless, with no gusts or whispers stirring the land. Silence reigns, emphasizing how deeply everything has fallen into a peaceful, almost sleepy silence, like the world itself is drifting into slumber. Looking West, I reach out and pick up a hanful of dirt. Letting it slip lazily between my fingers, I watch as the particles drift upward with minimal disturbance, forming a faint dust cloud that quickly diffuses into the air. There are no gusts strong enough to lift the dust higher, only a gentle settling reinforcing this overall sense of calm and stillness. Finally, I list my gaze to the sky and listen closely to the winds subtle hum. It's a muted, speely sound, almost like an unspoken message of patience and pause. The breeze remains steady but quiet, lacking the energy to carry any urgent message today. It moves softly, hinting at a moment of sillness before the next movement might happen. In every direction, the landscape is silent. No swirling dust, no rushing gusts, no shifting air.. just an overarching calm that blankets the entire realm. It feels as though the world has fallen into a collective sleep, holding its breath in quiet anticipation, waiting for the next gust of change. For now, the air is hushed and still, whispering of reflection and the fatigue shared by all. ::Sakuma | |
