I don't often venture down to see Wand, with long times to wait between my trials there are no more spells he can teach me just now I walk south of the clan and pass his abode and look in to see him - he appears angry. He speaks quickly and verbally bashes a local drunk who'd made fun of his beard in the tavern. It's unusual to see Wand upset by something so trivial.. A desire to pull the crystal and see where this anger takes him, he agrees. The crystal appears clear at first, until wisps of red flicker through, pulled into sight, harsh, blood red of rage. The red stains in and darkens into crimson but it continues, the hues of red so deep in anger that it swirls into streaks of black. Eventually there is no more crimson, only a black void to the crystal. I grimace and look at Wand. My reaction has shocked him, his face paled of colour in worry. He asks what I see. "The anger will consume you if you continue on this path, no light or positive energy will live here anymore. You could let this rage go.." Wand's face softens as he realises the impact of holding onto his anger, he nods in understanding. He agrees to choose his battles, and to make light of silly remarks made by drunken fools. ~~Rosa | |
