There I was on my way up the old mountain when I came upon the Old Man and his dog. He was muttering under his breath about "purple?I swear?" "No not there?" "Ah maybe??" his lost purple briefs that had recently gone missing.  Now mind you, I was in no hurry to put myself in a position to disrupt his rather perhaps, personal thoughts. However, he waved his cane at me, rather vigorously mind you, and asked what I was doing sneaking up on an Old Man such as himself! Apologetic, I stated I was on my way to grab my next level of sage and had not meant to disturb his peace.

Flustered, he noticed that I had an augury staff strapped to my backpack and asked if I perhaps had a moment to spare for a rather, delicate situation. He asked if I might be a diviner and whether or not I could help him to locate his missing purple briefs.
Pushing up my glasses and rolling up my sleeves, I flipped a coin.

Thunder over Pond meant Kuei Mei
The younger maiden marries - decay and renewal. There is misfortune in dealing with others. Moral codes being ignored, relationships are broken. This is part of the cycle of life; it is a time to endure. Disharmony with relationships

However, the secondary reading: Pond over Water meant K'un
Exhaustion -trials, opposition... Danger and Joy. Stay cheerful in the face of difficulties.

So, I told the Old Man, "Listen. It's best to forget about that girl, or er guy, whoever or wherever you may have left the briefs behind. That relationship is no longer fruitful for you, and as long as you can find happiness during your trails of adversity, you will find joy again.

He seemed a bit perplexed, and maybe a bit disappointed, but he nodded his thanks regardless. I went about my way, grabbed my sage spell, and scrolled back to the inn before I could bump into another inquiring soul, potentially asking about an Old man and his purple briefs.
