My duty, above all, is to guard the sanctity of the dojong, for it is more than wood, tatami, and stone. It is a place of stillness where one's ego must fall silent. Where tempers must be left at the threshold, and the spirit is shaped as surely as the body. Here, the earnest find guidance, and the prideful find their pride reflected back at them until it is tempered into humility.

As a Do Master, it's my duty to aid those who seek to walk this path, not by raising their strength alone, but by pointing them inward. For to train as Do is not to master others, but to master the self - and mastery of the self is not an end, but an ongoing practice. A thousand small corrections, a thousand quiet reckonings. It's learning to greet failure with patience, success with humility, and every challenge with the respect it deserves.

In that mastery lies peace. Not the peace of passivity, but the stillness of a spirit that cannot be swayed by fear, anger, or pride. This is the summit toward which we as Do must climb, knowing it will never be reached, yet knowing that each step brings us ever closer. To walk the Do path is to commit to that climb for as long as breath remains.
