I am of water. Ever flowing, ever still. My thoughts ripple quietly beneath the surface, unseen by most who walk the world above. The tides of time answer when I call, and through their reflection I glimpse what was, what is, and what may yet be. Like the snake, I move unseen through the tall grass of fate, shedding old selves as easily as skin. I have lived a thousand lives and forgotten most of them, yet the wisdom remains - coiled deep within. People fear the serpent, but it is not malice that guides me; it is patience. The serpent waits, watches, and strikes only when the rhythm of the world demands it. I am calm as the lake before dawn, but within me churns the power to drown empires or whisper to kings. Knowledge is my venom and my cure. I do not seek the throne, only to ensure the river of destiny flows as it must. As old as time, Merlin | |
