Pond knew that I spent some of my free time hanging out with the seamsresses, and he had them make me a dress. I cried when I first ran my fingers over the fabric, and had never been so happy. I had done nothing to be deserving of such an expensive gift. Pond made me feel so special in that moment, like I could achieve anything. He knew exactly what I needed, and that confidence boost made me feel like I could achieve anything.

I met BatSheba for the first time in that dress. I remember the meeting, and every detail. I remember my nerves, my heart pounding, and the tears I was fighting back. I knew I was meant to be there. She welcomed me in, and I was taken back by her softness, despite being a difficult teacher. While different from myself, she has a way about her that I could never copy. Nor would I disrespect who she is by making that attempt. She is fully unique, and I have the honor of calling her my guide. I will take pride in that until my last day. And I will try to honor her teachings with an equal resolve.

My studies were long. My days were full. My wrists hurt from the homework, the documentation, and I was weary from all the time I spent working. I finally let it go, and cried. And that is where we found my true ability. I am a Dacryomancer. And not to brag, but a talented one at that. BatSheba likened my power to a pendulum, in that it can swing in either direction.....but with control and effort, I would be able to harness it. And hopefully, master it.

My entry into the Divine Order was not met with a crowd of loving faces. Actually, BatSheba and Ssaiyen were the only ones there as I walked in for the first time. That didn't matter to me though. I finally had a home again, with people similar to me. That also brought up a feeling of guild I had. I had to make things right with my family back at the farm. Surely, they wondered what had happened to me.

I travelled back not long after, and explained myself in detail. They had been disappointed, but said that they always knew that I was alright. While I was there, I had a premonition that a bear would come out of the woods and attack my nephew that had been born while I was away. He was just able to walk. I wear his picture in a pendant, that also contains my miniature brass coins for I-ching readings.

That day my emotions got the best of me, and I unleashed an incredible power that destroyed the bear, and a bit of the surrounding area. I subconsciously put a magical barrier around my nephew at the same time. I do not know how I was able to do it. I have not been able to control my power to reproduce similar results. Upon seeing that, my family decided to believe my tale.....and I had sensed their hesitation.

Since my return, I have fully dedicated myself to service within the Divine Order. My adventures have been many, and the people I have met have been in greater number. I journal my adventures, and noteworthy meetings. Far too much to list here. Far too secret for the public as well.

My efforts caused me to climb the ranks. To Vanguard, and years later, to guideship.

Thinking about writing this caused me to reflect on my journeys. To think about the steps that brought me here to this point, and the potential for what lies ahead.

Only the first steps of my journey were taken alone. Since those first steps, I have had others to pick me up when I have fallen. I have had pillars of strength to hold me up when I stumble, and I have had sunshine and clouds to keep my head high when the tears would drag it down.

As long as my story is thusfar, I know that it is far from over. So much to do still. So many mysteries to uncover.

For anyone that has taken the time to read this, I thank you. Know that in a time of need, I will aid you, as will many others. I offer my shoulder to cry on, and I offer my own special tears to those in need.
