I have known Velka for some time now. I have watched her grow. I have watched her forge bonds within the community. She has brought a smile to my face many times with her dedication to everything that she chooses to take on. That list is large already, but continues to grow over time. She has been a model student, a friend, and a leader to many in the community. She often fills those roles at the same time, and performs with grace. She performs above expectation. The Divine Order is proud to have her. I am personally proud of her. I know that a future with people like her leading the way for others, it can be bright. I also know that she will be relied on to be a beacon during the hard times, that are arguably more important than the good times. She is the first to volunteer for selfless tasks, and today I want to give her the long overdue honor of recognizing her as a Contributor of Joy. When you see Velka, please offer her a smile and a congratulations. I assure you, she has earned it many times over. Velka, may your light shine bright.
