I screamed bloody murder, pure unadulterated rage. I cried for my brother Jeff because, under his watchful eyes, nothing would go unnoticed.

"I know who did it," said Jeff calmly. "It was the next door neighbor, the one whose house is located right next to the storeroom. Yes I know, I'm sorry. I was deep in sequential transcendental astral flux meditation and couldn't stop him. Yes, yes, I'll fix it. Good thing I'm a certified piano repairman."

And indeed, within the next hour, my brother fixed it. It even looked better than before. However, when I played it, it didn't produce the same good feeling. In fact, because I can't really play the piano, it produced the most dissonant noise. "That's *actually* what we've been hearing this whole time, little brother, not the melodious song you've claimed to hear," my brother Jeff told me. He tried to fix it a couple more times, but at the end concluded that whatever magic the piano had was gone forever the moment it broke.

I was livid. This couldn't be real. My lovely, beloved piano... was gone...

For the rest of the year, I was depressed. My mind became a haze. I wandered aimlessly into the forest, got lost, and started to live like a beast. I survived on instinct alone, eating whatever I could find, sleeping on any random patch of grass. But at the end of the year, my mind suddenly cleared. It was like divine inspiration struck me. I realized the crux of the issue: it was my neighbor! How dare he destroy my piano! He has to pay for it! But he had already run away to a place not even my brother could track. Unbelievable. No matter. My resolve is clear. I WILL track him down.

That's the end of my story. I hope with this letter you can find it in your heart to help me become a Ranger so I can find this vile piano-destroyer and finally bring him to justice.
