When I first began walking the Druid's path, I thought nature was simply beautiful. I enjoyed the forests, the rivers, and the flowers, but I did not truly understand them. One day I climbed Scribe's Mountain. As I stood near the waterfalls, I stopped thinking about quests and everything else around me. I only listened. The sound of the water, the wind through the trees, and the birds nearby made the place feel peaceful. For a little while, it felt as though nature was speaking in its own quiet way. That moment helped me realize that being close to nature is not only about seeing it. It is about slowing down, paying attention, and learning from it. Every tree, every flower, and every stream has something to teach if we are willing to listen. Since then, I have tried to spend more time observing instead of rushing. I believe that was the moment I began to feel my true bond with nature, and it is a lesson I will continue to carry with me as I walk the path of an Ovate. EL~ | |
