After spending time studying the Divine Chronicles and considering the traits of each animal and element, I find myself most strongly drawn to the Dragon. There is something about the Dragon that feels familiar to me. I have never been one who is satisfied simply standing still and accepting things as they are. When something catches my interest, I tend to pursue it until I understand it, even when curiosity leads me somewhere I probably should not be. As a Mage, this has often been the way I approach magic as well. There is always another mystery, another bit of knowledge, and another challenge waiting beyond what I already know. I also see the Dragon in my ambition. When I decide that something matters to me, I can become incredibly determined. Sometimes this serves me well, while other times that determination becomes stubbornness. I know I can be impatient when things do not happen as quickly as I would like, and pride sometimes makes it difficult for me to admit when I have taken the wrong path. To me, understanding one's Zodiac should mean recognizing the weaknesses as much as the strengths. As for my element, I believe Fire represents me best. Fire can bring warmth and light, but if left uncontrolled, that same fire can consume everything around it. I see something similar within myself. My passions can push me toward things with great determination, but they can also make me act before I have considered everything carefully. Fire also reminds me of magic: something powerful and beautiful when respected, yet dangerous when treated carelessly. For these reasons, if I were asked to look within myself and choose before the stars reveal their answer, I would say that I am a Fire Dragon. The Dragon represents the ambition, curiosity, pride, and determination I recognize within myself, while Fire represents the passion that drives those qualities. Whether the heavens agree with me remains to be seen. Perhaps the stars know Buncit better than Buncit knows himself. - Buncit | |
