Afternoon in Woodlands,

Although close to the city, my initial thoughts were soon proved to be false beliefs. I thought that the woodland area was a tamed extension of Nagnang. What I found out and learned to do will help me in my training and personal life going forward.

I learned that in the dry most harsh environments you can always find a meal. Whether you have to dig up some grubs, eat snake, or even a less favorable to some, but great source of protein rat meat. Because of the dry environment I learned of making sure I take the proper steps to ensure that nature is safe while I can interupt the flow briefly. Hoping to leave nothing but a singed mark on the ground. I use my Axe, to dig a pit and line it with rocks to to keep my fire from spreading providing me with a way to cook my food.

Following the streams to where the standing waters blue lagoon looks as it can quickly quench my thirst... I was stopped. I was told take another look, looking in I saw hungry lobsters, man eaters and in that water had the bug that drove those lobsters to be aggressive, what I learned about keeping the environment neat I applied to the sandy beach. This time I had to make sure I set security as well as traps incase some of those lobsters tried to make me a snack.

Wandering to the mountains far east in the woodlands you could hear the grrowls of territorial bears. They not only are strong, but very acclimated to the frozen tundra. I could freeze to death out here, but I could use one of the bears, just one, enough meat and rich liver for me to survive for a week along with their fur to keep me warm.

Using all these skill I learned in woodlands I know I can apply them to Woodland and Wilderness survival, I am sharper than I was before entering woodlands and respect nature for it evolution and I will still work to further learn more about the creatures of the wild.
